ERP FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Common questions about this service answered directly.

Which ERP is right for my business?

For most Canadian mid-market companies in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or professional services with 25–250 users, Sage 300 is the strongest fit. It handles multi-entity, multi-currency operations with a proven Canadian partner ecosystem. We assess your specific workflow, reporting needs, and growth trajectory before recommending any platform.

What does ERP implementation include?

Our full ERP implementation includes discovery and requirements mapping, system design and configuration, data migration from your current system, user acceptance testing, end-user training (on-site), go-live support, and 30-day post-implementation hypercare. Everything needed to go live successfully in one fixed-price engagement.

What is the typical go-live timeline for a Sage 300 implementation?

For a company of 25–100 users with standard modules (GL, AP, AR, Inventory, Order Entry), go-live typically takes 8–12 weeks from kickoff. Multi-entity configurations, custom modules, or complex data migrations add 4–8 weeks. We scope the timeline precisely during discovery no surprises.

Do you provide training for our accounting and operations team?

Yes. On-site end-user training is included in every implementation. We train role-by-role: AP clerks learn AP workflows, inventory staff learn inventory, and management gets reporting and KPI dashboards. We also provide administrator training so your team can manage users and basic configuration independently.

What ongoing support do you provide after go-live?

Most clients move to a monthly support retainer post-implementation, which covers helpdesk support, annual version upgrades, year-end close assistance, new module additions, and vCIO strategy sessions. Access to Sage-certified consultants not tier-1 helpdesk for the life of your Sage investment.
